First Lady, Mother
Marcietia S. Simmons Glenn is the wife, help-mate and life partner
of Bishop Gerald O. Glenn, Pastor and Founder of New Deliverance
Evangelistic Church (NDEC). They are the parents of five children:
Quincye, Gerald, Mar-Gerie, Janell and Amanda, one daughter-in-law,
and the proud grandparents of nine grandchildren. With great joy,
she balances being a wife, mother, mother-in-law, nana, First Lady,
counselor and friend.
In her many capacities of being a woman with great responsibilities
she formerly served as the Executive Director of the New Deliverance
Christian Academy. She is an Evangelist who proclaims the Salvation
Power of the Lord Jesus Christ and shares her many virtues as
Spiritual Mother.
Currently, she serves as President of NDEC's Women's Ministry: Women
With Mission & Purpose. First Lady Glenn shares her many life's
experiences with women everywhere. God has raised up this vessel for
"such a time as this" to bring healing and deliverance to hurting
women. Balanced between a life and death situation, this woman of
GOD was selected by GOD to deliver a word that will free women from
"dark hour" experiences everywhere! In what appeared to be a
hopeless situation, her husband and family continued to call on God;
their hope was not lost. They prayed for a "miracle"!!! Prayers
Answered: she was brought back to life because of a miraculous God!
There is no doubt in her mind that her "Redeemer lives"!!! She
absolutely trusts God and is grateful for the opportunity to tell
her story.
First Lady Glenn is a "diamond in the rough." For she has been
"troubled on every side, yet not distressed, perplexed, but not in
despair, persecuted but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed"
(II Corinthians 4:8-9). She has been through many fires in her life,
but just like a "diamond", the more pressure that is applied, the
better that "diamond" will become. First Lady Glenn knows what it is
to be called a survivalist. And she knows that "NO WEAPON FORMED
AGAINST HER SHALL BE ABLE TO PROSPER" for God is her
Commander-in-Chief. His grace has guided her to replace doubt with
hope, failures with successes, criticism with praise, and disbelief
with faith.
She lives her life as an open book and shares her testimony in order
that she is able to help women who have been broken, battered and
bruised. She has a heart far more precious than rubies, silver or
gold. No matter the test, no matter the trial, she will stand on the
promises of God and profess that her good days out weigh her bad
days and she will not, she shall not, she won't complain!
